So now the "trigger finger" hands on new figures have the trigger finger in the "safety" position? Is this going to be a trend across the action figure hobby, I wonder?

I think it'll depend on the brand. I know a lot of military figure collectors have harped about this for a long time. I'm sure once this hand is available, other companies will recast it hehe.

Yeah, the safety finger hand is an excellent idea. The only bad thing is the sculpted bandana on his head — should have been cloth.

My understanding is that the "safety position" is a relatively recent development in the firearms hobby. It would not be appropriate for historical figures, like Old West or WWII.

(Cursory online research across several forums and sources suggests that "trigger discipline" with finger alongside the trigger and guard began to become widespread in the early to mid-1990s.)

Nice figure, but not my cup of tea; too futuristic/sci-fi for me.

Definitely cool for loose pieces; I specially like the head, because achieving the perfect look with a cloth wrap is virtually impossible.

Nice set. I can see why they went with the sculpted/molded bandana, but I agree it is unfortunate -- and not very convincing looking after all. I've seen some of these trigger hands, did not know the context. Impressed by the texturing of the skin (where it shows at the neck) and even the attempt at body hair on the lower arms. It will be years before TBLeague even considers doing something like that, although ADD did do pretty well, except for not going all the way and having bodies that are far less effective in practice.
