NEW PRODUCT: Mr. Z: 1/6 Simulated Animal No. 59 - Duweime Horse Full Set of 7 Colors

I think I'm the only one who *doesn't* want articulated 1/6 horses. The companies already struggle to get the anatomy right on the 'statues', so it doesn't really inspire a ton of confidence in the prospect of articulated versions.

I plan on making one at some point! I made one years ago with a wire armature but anatomically she wasn’t great and the wires don’t support her weight very well now.

My best friend has a business making fully poseable needlefelted horses in 1/12th scale, but he says he’d be willing to attempt a 1/6th scale one at some point! They’d be pretty pricey though, but his work is absolutely worth it.

I’ve dabbled in needlefelting before and I think I’d like to try out a horse at some point too - Tom also has a video course on how to make them!

I remember yours, she is adorable!

And yesss! Wow, that's gorgeous. I think the art doll and/or poseable needle-felting is the way to go with these. I trust individual skilled artists to make poseable horses work, just not 1/6 third party companies.

Oh man! I’d love to see your character I her new outfit, Christine. 5ose horses are cool, but yeah, I can’t imagine a 1/6 scale horse would be less than $600 USD.

These horses are sooo beautiful! Really hard to resist, but I really don't have the space for a 1/6 horse and in fact packed up my two 1/12 horses to sell. So...  

Sharing some photos of version 6, received last week. Slender horse with very fine lines, I chose this version for the "original" color and which I like.

Thirded! Dapple grey is a really difficult colour to pull off, even by hobby artists but that looks fantastic! Pity the hooves are so plain though, that’s the only detail they’re missing really.

Yes, it turned out nice. I really appreciated the coat colour options for these Mr. Z horses, I just wish these colour options had been available for some of the previous designs. There's something about this particular model that just doesn't quite do it for me.

Some more horses from Mr. Z!! I like the different and more lively stances they’re in. I have a one of the previous models (can’t recall the exact name/model) , a black horse I picked up for my Zorro.

Mr Z Duweime Horse in Buckskin arrived today!! He is awesome! I did not get this on preorder, he arrived by Fedex from BBTS and even tho he was the last of his color in stock I only paid 119!! ( they still have the bay and the white in stock) . Came in original shipper and well packaged. Ive collected the large Breyers all my life. This guy is the biggest in my herd. He comes just as he is, which I have a saddle tree and hardware arriving from Rio Rondo to make his tack. Im still hoping to find the Dutch Warmblood in GOLD for the fantasy Valkyrie figure Im working on but so far he has eluded me. Thanks for letting me share.

Hands up, i am no expert on horses. These horses appear to have overly long necks.

Im not sure why my pix diddnt post They dont do it judtice tho and in the photos his head looks unusually large
