Somewhat reminiscent of a Kamen Rider figure. Kamen Rider was a Japanese television series from the 1970s, similar to Ultraman. The Kamen Rider series received very little distribution in the US, other than in Hawaii, where it is fondly remembered by a now-older generation as an after-school TV staple.

I know nothing about these other than them being precursors to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
