Yeah, I’ve got her already! I’ve been watching a few on eBay in case I can get one cheap. The body’s pretty good too but obviously if I take the head off one then I’m left in a quandary! XD

I am actually looking for the CGL dark Phoenix figure mentioned at the beginning of this thread 🤣

at the very least, just the outfit/some suggestions to something similar.
I just want to put my Jean figure in this outfit, but would also like to own this figure if possible.

Well, I managed to find someone who is willing to make this outfit for me—YAY!

Now, I need boots! Anyone know where I can her lace up brown boots? Will need to be hollow for feet and my phicen body has attached feet.

Doesn’t need to be exact to these, but close enough

Glad you found someone to help! Smile

Photos in the listing say otherwise, unfortunately

I own several pairs of these in both black and brown colours and can guarantee they are empty/hollow inside. : )

Oh ok! Weird that they have it listed like that, then.
Those are actually one ones I’ve been eyeing. Thanks!

skywalkersaga
No problem! and yes, I check that first link and it does seem rather misleading. If you look at other listings that have it [for cheaper prices too!] they don't include those super confusing pics.

I wouldn’t care if I had some extra bodies with detachable feet, but I don’t at the moment, so gotta work with what I have!

skywalkersaga

skywalkersaga
No worries! If you do go for those, just be aware you will probably have to heat them up before being able to get them on the figure. They will seem rock hard when they arrive, but heating them up makes them quite malleable.

Currently on the look out for a few things....

First, I am wondering what happened to the upgraded female PopToys bodies? I am trying to track down a small bust, 'semi-seamless' PopToys body in suntan skintone, but all the listings I've encountered are sold out of that particular version. Feels like I blinked and missed those... :/

Similarly, I was hoping to acquire the Elizabeth I PopToys (aka Cate Blanchett) headsculpt, but have not seen it parted out anywhere. I'm guessing I just missed it, but asking in case anyone happens to see it available.

Finally, I'm curious if anyone makes knock-off 'Hot Toys'-style action figure stands... aka, the rectangular base type. Obviously there are plenty of cheap action figure stands available, but those are usually the oval shaped ones, or the more fancy dynamic stands. I have a couple of kitbashed HT figures that need stands, and wanted to keep all the HT stuff more streamlined in appearance, but purchasing loose HT stands (which often go for £30+) gets expensive fast. I'm guessing the answer is 'no', but asking just in case... ;p

Have you looked under Xing bodies? You might be able to find them that way.

Ah, thanks! That was indeed the missing word in my search. Found the small bust one that I was looking for. I've been wanting to use it to upgrade the Beth figure I made last year, since the neck gap on it was preventing me from doing anything but really boring poses. Fingers crossed the modified version will solve that...

They have the Poptoys Elizabeth parted out on Evilbay, but they want a pretty penny for her head sculpt.

Thanks for the heads-up, Nekkra! I guess I must have just missed those in my last search. You are right though, a bit pricey.... I guess they know that it's a fairly sought-after headsculpt...

Which semi seamless body are you looking for, the one with seamless arms and legs? I ordered one some time ago and it never arrived, asked the seller and they said something about production problems and that they haven't received any yet... (although listed as available first)

Yes, the one with seamless arms and legs... I think it's the PopToys 'Xing' body, but the upgraded/modified version.

I'm looking for some kind of studded black belt for a female figure. The closer in appearance to this belt, the better:

quest - Please help me find... (continuously updated) - Page 18 Deaths10

So far almost all I've been able to find are plain black normal-looking belts, and those black "tactical" style belts. I did locate one that was kitbashed from a "Snow Leopard Female Sniper" figure. And I bought it because it was the closest I could find. But it has a single row of metal holes that only go halfway around the belt. If they actually went all the way around I'd probably just call it good enough. Razz

Have you considered getting a black belt and gluing a bunch of tiny metallic (or metallic-looking) studs/caps on it? It is not the most practical thing but might work if there isn't another option. I suppose you could even try to just paint them on with a chrome acrylic pen (like a Molotow marker).

Hm, that's a good idea, thanks! I would still want to find a wider belt to fit the look I'm going for (plus the typical skinny belts wouldn't accommodate two rows of studs very well). But your suggestion definitely broadens my options.

I just came across this -- not the same, and for males, but I think it might be the closest thing to it in sixth scale.

Wow, that's close to perfect, actually! And since the "studs" are all holes for the prongs, I'm sure I'd have no problem fitting it on a female. I don't like those two extra loops with rings, but they look like they could easily be removed. I doubt I'll find anything else as close to what I want as this is, so I went ahead and just bought it. Thanks Very Happy Once all the parts arrive, I'll be sure to post pics of the figure.
