To celebrate the 26th anniversary of CHINA Hong Kong's return to the motherland, Soldier Story proudly presents 1/6th scale collectible action figure of the elite tactical unit of the Hong Kong Police Force - Special Duty Unit "Diver Assault Group / Water Team nicknamed : " Water Ghosts".

Special Duty Unit abbreviation SDU nicknamed :”Flying Tigers” was established on July 23, 1974, it is a sub-division of the Police Tactical Unit (PTU). SDU was the first paramilitary special police force in Hong Kong. The Water Team was Established in 1981, is subordinate to the Special Duty Unit action group / assault team. It is a Marine Counter Terrorist Team whose main responsibilities are to deal with serious crimes on water, fight terrorism, protect key personnel, Underwater searches, track and search for evidence, carry out special operations and provide emergency medical services in disasters. Due to the ghostly actions under water hence the nicknamed “Water Ghost.”
The figure adopts a brand new S6.0 action body (with over 38 movable joints) /w life-like Hong Kong police officer headsculpt. The head gear equipped FAST bulletproof helmet, MUM-14 night vision goggles system, the MUM-14 Binocular Bridge offers the operator the versatility of running just one, or two MUM-14 NVG(s).
In order to restore the underwater stealth operation of the Water Ghost team, the LAR rebreather is a closed circuit SCUBA device which is complete elimination of expelled bubbles which makes the LAR ideal for clandestine amphibious. Solder Story restore this rebreather model in 1/6th scale with fully internal constructions & details.

In terms of clothing, the figure included a tactical dry suit that can prevent water immersion. It is also equipped with multiple underwater combat equipment including dive goggles, OSK diving communication headset backpack, sewing terrain shoes (one pair), life v est and flashing lights , depth gauge watch, diving navigation board, and safety rope bag.

In terms of weapons, the 9mm MP5A2 SMG is modified by SDU with tactical rail which can be equipped with weapon light, laser sights, and silencers on firearms; The 9mm G17 pistol equipped with a new DBAL-PL laser gun light and a high capacity magazine, and both weapons are equipped with detachable magazines.

The SDU figure are equipped with a CHINA Hong Kong Special Duty Unit “Diver Assault Group” exclusive action figure stand.

In addition, two sets of acrylic diver figure display stand and stainless steel wire ladder provided to create combat scenes in DELUXE VER .

I love the looks of the rebreather and other dive gear. Those would be fun elements to pick up if something like that were marketed separately.

I saw this on BBICN last week. I do really like it, so fully loaded and that ladder really nice. I am not sure I like it enough to get it, as too much out of my field of interest, but I do really like it. I know the German KSM wear fins over boots too

Jeez, I guess they got quite the amount of Social Credits for that introduction text and figure. But yeah looks great. Tactical drysuit has sci fi potential.
