Insidious Scammers!

I suppose I should be flattered. Imagine my surprise when, among other hits on an only distantly related websearch, I discovered these beauties up for sale! And for just over $40 (USD), which would be a real bargain. I mean, when was the last time you found Hot Toys figures (not to mention customized ones) at this price? I think most of us would smell the fish from across the galaxy, but just in case, since these scammers do appear to have such fake listings for a range of products (actual products and customs alike)...

I've seen some of our photos used (without permission) to advertise actual products really for sale on eBay (we had a discussion about this at some point in the past), but these examples are outright false listings, and I imagine anyone taken in would simply lose their money and receive nothing at all. If they do receive something (which is exceedingly unlikely), it would certainly not be what is advertised -- and probably not even a high resolution photo or anything like that.

These are not on eBay. I suppose this entire site (palmay.top) might be a scam, so I don't want to touch it with a virtual 10-foot pole.

I hope you're not saying my photos look fake! At least not these. But yes, the whole pick a size drop down menu (which seems to be intended for articles of clothing) next to all these listings makes it look very suspicious.

The same thing happened to me several years ago when I was still on OSW.
Someone had sent me a PM informing me that they had seen a eBay listing (I think it was from Brazil) that had photos of 4 my BBI Cygirls on motorcycles at a really good price.

Wow, that's pretty bad. I'd report that if you're able to.

I have seen some of my Ebay listing pictures in odd places like Worthpoint, and some obscure blogs, but not sales posts..... yet.

Was this set of pictures originally posted on OSW years ago? They look very familiar.

Wow, that is pretty brazen, considering eBay has some degree of enforcement and repercussions.

I'm not sure how I'd go about it, and how to keep safe dealing with a site this shady. But I felt it was a good thing to report, not just because they used some of my stuff, but also because they list all sort of stuff (e.g., Hot Toys sets) and someone desperate or careless enough might buy something and lose their money.
