Wow. Beautiful figure and very cool articulation solutions. The neck, wrists, and fingers seem to work so well. And I've long wondered if perhaps it would be possible to position movable eyeballs using a magnet. In this instance, the solutions obviously require a pretty fully covered-up body, but they are impressive. Then again, so is the price.
I've been watching some YouTube videos on badass supervillains, and this guy shows up a few times.

as fantastic as this figure is, and some of the features are just killer.
i just dont understand the fascination with the joker? surely it must be the most made figure in the hobby?
and now we have 2 companies vying for the same spot to really blow hot toys out of the water.
calling pieces like this museum standard is really not to my mind all that accurate, as the majority of museums dont even come close to this standard of model making.
but i couldnt stomach to pay this much money for a figure, 3k would just give me instant buyers remorse. i have only done it a couple of times in my life and not enjoyed that sinking feeling haha

Hope that head and finger technology evolves further and becomes more inexpensive for some other figure.

I also dont get that joker fascination at all. Especially with Inart habing done this character just now.

Maybe i will wait 10 years and 5 more companies for the ultimate ultimate €10000 joker. Only to not buy it because he doesnt interest me that much. Lol

I hope this kind of articulation will become standard some time in the not too distant future.

The Joker was (is?) a very cool, fun, fairly unusual villain, for sure. And being able to make an effective rendition of him in sixth scale is an achievement. Presumably, hence the fascination. But I am not all that fascinated myself.

These prices are a joke. The eye solution is impressive, but I’m not so sure about the overly wrinkly “skin” of the neck.

Yeah I understand that the character is cool and beloved. But so soon after Hot toys and Inart feels a bit lame. I mean every collector who is a Joker fanatic should have a perfect one already.
But maybe it was to show off their skills in direct competition with the other companies.

The Joker is an odd one for me -- if anything I find some of that source material that likely inspired his visual design (such as The Man Who Laughs) to be more compelling than the comic book version. But I do think this particular incarnation of him from The Dark Knight is well-beloved because it is one of the last and most iconic roles for which Heath Ledger (RIP) is remembered.

Agree that the price is insane, though it's interesting to see another company pushing the standards higher.

I have no wish to own this particular figure myself, but....

Perhaps. But my guess is the number of those double sets was so small that it was easy for the uber-fans to snatch them up.

im also not sure i would want to cough up for this experiment either. i mean just how long will this figure last? just because its pricey dosnt mean that it wont significantly deteriorate in 10 years time or even less than that!

Great looking figure. I think the white face paint looks too transparent.
Crazy high price point. I think i prefer the InArt Ledger Joker. Even that was more than i was willing to pay for.

These are seriously astounding figures but no 1/6 figure is worth that much money in my eyes
