I can see why it can come across as creepy. But they already lost me with the stylized look and the expression.

I don't think the heads look 12 years old (But in one photo she has a schoolgirl or high school girl outfit). They mostly look sad with a head more like an android.
I find them ugly, not human

This has got to be one of the ugliest sculpts I've seen. I don't even know what I'm looking at.

Looks to me like they tried to translate a manga drawing into 3D. If she was a manga drawing she would probably be a young adult, as teens and kids look different. I can imagine manga fans liking this.

The length of the nose is most irritating, and since manga drawings rarely flesh out the nose it kinda confirms my theory. Like they didn't know what to do with it.

But yeah... I don't care for this style either.

That kind of face is very common in the BJD community, so I'd say it's an attempt to fall into this genre. A failed attempt though
