A few of the heads I’ve bought lately have turned out to be made of really cheapo plastic like the kind of plastic that plastic models are made of, and they have this shine that kind of ruins the realism for me. Have any of you experienced this too?
I prefer the kind of plastic that 1/6 heads are traditionally made of.
I guess I could try spraying the too-shiny head with flat lacquer, but that could be a delicate and messy operation with the hair…
[edit]: Ah, but wait. Since this is a movable eyes head the whole face plate comes off to allow convenient spraying of lacquer without any hair getting in the way!
Version D actually looks exactly like a real Japanese girl I used to know many years ago.
I think version E is my fave, but I wish the hair was black and not brown. — I wonder if a black sharpie marker could get the hair color change job done for me…?
