AlKelAstra91 wrote:All of your photography is incredible, but it's so cool and unique that you made a kitbash of lesser seen characters like David Dunn from Unbreakable. I love that movie and you executed the rain effects perfectly. I bet you could pull off really awesome Mr. Glass and The Beast customs to accompany him.

And hey, you'd probably only need to purchase a young bald Professor X then just use his wheelchair for Elijah's character. lol

Many thanks for the kind feedback, it really means a lot! I loved unbreakable so much I had to make David Dunn, he was one of my first custom figures, surely the easiest but still among my favs! I plan on doing the beast, waiting on a parted out Charles Xavier's headsculpt... I won't go for the Glass character, I loved him in unbreakable but I quite disliked the last chapter, and this is one complicated custom to assemble, mainly his outfit.

GubernatorFan wrote:LOL I love it. Beautiful photography and set up, and the way you customize figures and diorama pieces to work just right for your purposes. Not surprised at this point, but continually impressed and amused.

Thanks my friend, that is very kind of you! Happy to keep you amused, that's the main goal!

skywalkersaga wrote:OMG, this is hilarious and SO well posed, staged, and photographed! You are amazing at recreating scenes. Adore all the little details -- the picture on the wall, the cupboard under the sink, the little bar of soap. I can only imagine the amount of time and work that went into this!

And how did you do the seamless effect on his knees? Is that some clever photoshopping? ;D

Thank you so much for the continuous support miss, it means a lot! My main challenges here were the sink and cupboard, and the toothpaste and toothbrush even if they are nearly unseen on the final shots lmao

And yep I edited the knees on photoshop, the joints were so obvious Smile

I was wondering about that myself. Blackpool is the God of photoshop, by the way!

Naaaah, I just work on it everyday, it's been over 15 years that I use photoshop, but I still learn new tricks and functionalities all the time, so many ways to get to the same result with this software the options are endless, not sure anyone will master it one day lol

Thanks a ton Mark, straight to my heart!

A nice pair I grabbed recently from a french collector friend, Marty (1985 version) and Doc Brown! as Neca is soon releasing a full line of back to the future figures, he's dropping his only 1/6 figures to come back to his favorite scale, luckily for me!

Of course first thing I did was dismantling them totally to see the underlying bodies which are both very interesting and have a lot of potential tho Marty super skinny body is hard to dress up...

Starting with my favorite part of the trilogy, the 1885 era! Hope you'll like!

Thanks gents!

A bit of a special update, I think that's my favorite figure ever, I'm amazed every single minute with the quality of the crafting and likeness, even more on a figure from 2012 or so...

Anyway, meet Captain Jack Sparrow, slightly modified, I took off one of his belts to make him screen acurate to the first movies (the figure is based on the latest "dead men tell no tales" sequel)

Hope you'll like!

Thanks a lot Gub! It took me a few rewatches of the movies to get it correct, but the figure is so outstanding and easy to pose it was a pleasure

actionfiguremovies2 wrote:blackpool: Your jack figures looks almost real. Great figure and pictures.

Thank you 3000 AFM, I gotta agree it's straight among my very favorites, I rarely had such a good moment unboxing a figure (even more an old one from 8-10 years ago)

Stryker2011 wrote:That is really excellent. Some awesome shots. Really dig the smiling sculpt pics. Very cool.

Thanks a lot Mark, I'm with you on the smiling headsculpt which is the best of the two, it captures mr Depp's funky wonky weirdness so well lol

hahahaha thanks for the very cool feedback, glad it works even better than intended! It's not very hard with that figure, hot toys really knocked it out of the par in terms of quality and likeness... While I like to do photo edition I also love browsing pictures of figures I don't have, without or with effects, directly on the shelf or on the workbench for modification, I'm always curious and enthusiastic! So please keep posting pictures!

Ovy wrote:That figure really seems to have raised the bar - 2012, nice!

Excellent as always Monsieur.

Merci beaucoup Sir! Indeed HT made a crazy work compared to some of their most recent releases this Jack Sparrow doesn't suffer too much the comparison. I wish they redid the other characters tho, these are from an even older generation and the quality was way inferior back then
