3d printer...

what is the best one...?  on  a budget..so less than 500 bucks would be great..
what's it like printing in FDM?  is there a lot of post work on that type once printed?  
any help would be greatly appreciated..

The cheaper they are, the harder they are to use and the less reliable they are. Ideally you want one that self-levels and auto-calibrates, but that adds to the cost. I've been researching for about a year and can't find anything suitable for under a thousand dollars. I've decided to save up for a Lulzbot.
