I don't get to review something this cool, this amazing, or this expensive very often, but when I do, I like to take full advantage!  I'm checking out the new Ghostbusters Ecto-1 from Blitzway tonight, and there's a ton of text and photos - it's a long one!

You can also find the review at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

That is gorgeous but I've owned full-sized cars that cost less than this. However, and I don't believe I'm saying this, I think it might actually be worth the money. Nice review.

That was one of the first things that crossed my mind too when I heared about the Ecto-1 model.
Luckily I've never been much into Ghostbusters at all just watched the cartoon series as a kid from time to time. Good centerpiece for a nice ghostbuster collection though Smile

Wow, that is one incredibly detailed 1/6 vehicle! I am nowhere near an expert on Ghostbusters, so I was viewing it more from just a fan of all-things miniature, and even from that perspective it's extremely impressive.

Now I just wish that I'd been in this hobby longer so I had hundreds of $$$ worth of Sideshow points to put towards whatever eventual 1/6 SW vehicle comes up that I won't be able to afford.... Razz

Thank you for the review. A glorious vehicle indeed! My wallet is taking another huge sigh of relief that I'm just not that invested in the Ghostbusters, but they have done a lot of justice to that franchise.

Wow! What a thing of beauty. I’m glad I wasn’t invested in this line — though I would have been if the sculpts on the figures didn’t take the fun out of the characters. Great and thorough review, Michael. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy this beautiful vehicle, she’s super cool.

Ghostbusters was a fun film but never one of my top favs. But this looks amazing! Great review btw! What a work of art that car is! So much attention to detail is incredible. I am so glad it is not my thing or I would be trying to work out how to pay for it.

I went back and looked again at this awesome review... I think it actually works out perfectly to have it not fit against any kind of backdrop, since showing it sitting on that table really gives a good impression of how big it is!

Just an amazing scale vehicle! It is both a good, and unfortunate thing that I am also not a Ghostbusters collector. Giant toy cars are awesome!
