Ya gotta have a Normandy Paratrooper, right?

Well I thought so, so I whipped one up.

Then I threw him outside for a couple quick shots.

Dragon body, uniform (tea soaked), rifle (repainted, grenade launcher sight-mount removed, new sling added) and equipment
(given a treatment with some wood stain to darken it, plus bits of aluminum for the end-tabs) with BBI Hands (repainted, fingers cut) and a Sideshow head (repainted).
The helmet is DiD, and boots from BGT.

Nice job on the weathering and repaint. He looks completely worn down, and the tea soak method is a great method.

I agree, you did a great job with the repaint, weathering, and the whole assembly. Also, great outdoors shots.

He looks like he didn't sleep for several days, because no one gave him the order yet.

The last shot is very effective, despite the modern vehicle. He looks like he's about to sprint a distance under cover fire or something.

Thanks Ovy!

I was thinking of the "After 3 days and nights of hard fighting, you will be relieved!" remark that the 101st got from General Taylor.

And how they subsequently wound up staying in the field for 72 days (Early June to late November) until they were moved to Camp Mourmelon.

I'm currently reading Band of Brothers (for the first time, but I've seen the series countless times) so I'm really getting a good feel for it right now.
