We all have a few skeletons in the closet, but we need more of them in sixth scale. COO Models has a new die cast metal version out, but unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. My review is here:

or you can find it with the rest of the reviews at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

That's a shame. I loved their earlier plastic skeletons. Wish I had bought more of them before they became too hard to find.

Wow short is right — that’s a real shame.

Thank you for the review, Michael. I was considering this when I saw it up for sale, but your review has decided the matter. Coo Model's earlier, plastic skeletons has their issues, but were less disappointing to me.

thanks for the review, I put great faith in what you think about all this 1/6 stuff.
....short stature, hips wider than rib cage, tiny feet, is it supposed to be a female?

Well, Maybe it's depicting a skeleton from medieval times when we all where smaller...

I had the opportunity to play around with one of them, I think it looks cute. Just turning the real ball joints into ball joints would have been nice of course.
There seems to be an unusable joint in the spine below the ripcage?

The pelvis does indeed look to be female but i could be wrong. The skull seems to be too round I agree with the comments about the hips and shoulders they just don't look right.

What gets me are the lines on the ribcage which to me look like the wires used to 'suspend'/position the ribs on an anatomical skeleton so my question is if they are going to do that why not use some variation of the jointing they use on 'real' skeleton (1:1 figures)

I have the red death version who is not that posable but works for what i want I've recently modified the least realistic in my opinion of the 2 skulls that figure comes with and added 1mm leds to the eye sockets (his robes hide the battery and switch but it looks ahem when you lift them to switch it on considering the switch sits in his pelvis!) but overall the effect works with the demon mask though.

as for the older coo model skeletons, maybe a bit of a warning: after leaving them in a pose for a longer time, the pegs in wrist, ankle, femur etc, at least in my figure, "melted"
with the socket.
thus turning the wrist or leg without extensive heating made them break twice. one at the wrist, the other at the hip.
adding insult to injury, the leftovers were buried deep inside the socket, making the removal quite a pain in the butt.
for some reason i had pegs from a female figure around, they fit in size at least and the color isnt too noticeable.
cheers
