The dragon robe, the emperor's court clothes, the emperor's dress, has a dragon-shaped pattern on it.
The dragon robe of the Qing Dynasty was mainly bright yellow. According to literature records, the hem of the dragon robe is lined with many curved lines diagonally, which are called water feet. Above the water’s feet, there are many tumbling water waves. Above the water waves, there are treasures of mountains and rocks, commonly known as "Salt Water River". In addition to expressing the continuous auspicious meaning, there are also "unification of mountains and rivers" and The implied meaning of "Wanshishengping".
The dragon robe is the whole robe of the upper and lower subordinates. When wearing a dragon robe, you must wear a crown, tie a lucky belt and hang a pearl. It is a dress worn by the emperor at auspicious banquets and when meeting his subjects. The dragon robes worn by the emperors produced a sense of awe and mystery in the hearts of modern people.

The set looks pretty neat, hat looks a little mismatched/odd with the head they used here.

I agree. It doesn't seem to fit right with that head, and might be a tad too big. It seems to be a good recreation of Qing emperor's look from Story of Yanxi Palace.
