Throughout his extraordinarily long life, Captain Jack Harkness has been many things: Time Agent; leader of Torchwood and poster boy for the Boeshane Peninsula. First meeting the Doctor and Rose Tyler in 1940’s London, he helped defeat the reanimated “Empty Child” and the Slitheen, before being exterminated by the Daleks on the Game Station. After absorbing the power of the Time Vortex Rose revives Jack, making him immortal. Travelling back to 1869, Jack’s vortex manipulator burned out, forcing him to live through the twentieth century. He joined Torchwood in Cardiff, knowing the Doctor would return one day to refuel on the rift. Following the TARDIS to the end of universe, Jack faced the Master, and then Davros and his Dalek crucible, as well as battling many evils on Earth with Torchwood.

Cool. Never watched the show, but I can see quite a bit of resemblance.

nope the h/s looks a bit like a cross between him and Leonardo de Caprio and John Barrowman

and btw GF I''d watch the earlier series but as a long term viewer I have refused to watch from 1/2 way through the the last series and not because they made him a her the writing, script and direction were appalling in my opinion

I don't know what it is, but likeness seems a bit off to me as well. Maybe it's the lack of his signature smile? The proportions look a bit off as well, the pants look super baggy. I don't remember it being like that in the show. I only have one fig from Big Chief, I really want to like their Dr. Who figures but looking at reviews, their final product always falls short of the prototypes/expectations. My faves were the 10/11 doctor seasons.

I'll always have a soft spot for Nine, short-lived as he might have been. Haven't really bothered with any others. ;p

As for this figure, I agree with others who are somewhat uncertain how well the end product would live up to the photos. Also, maybe it's just me, but does the head look really oversized in some of the pics?

proportions definitely look off to me. Always thought of him as a taller lankier guy than stocky short fella

The head sculpt is everything with these kinds of figures and they have nailed this one.
