Not bad at all. I recently found a slightly different version and have it on order now. Will post pics when it arrives.

Just arrived today. No pics yet but I measured it. The "board" is 75 mm long and the counters are 9 mm diameter, so this set is closer to 1:4 scale rather than 1:6 but it should be usable in the right display.

We don’t have Targets here in the U.K., but a few of my US based doll friends have said that there are some great 1/6th scale BBQs decorations for sale at the moment! They’re pretty basic but with a bit of tweaking they could have some good potential!

Damn, I think I need 1 of these grills something fierce. Need to pay a visit to my local Target. Anyone have any luck finding one yet?

Looking at it standing next to Ken, it is too small for 1:6. Looks closer to 1:8.

Ah, you may be right. Bummer. Sill might grab one to give it a shot if I see one. Then I can make some grimey rat-on-a-stick kabobs, or something equally as horrifying to be grilling in the wastelands.

If you cut down the legs, it will be just right for a small, table-top style. I use to have one.

I just came back from Target and looked around for this again, with no success. Not all stores stock exactly the same stuff all the time, but good luck.

Found a cool frypan keychain and put together this breakfast pack. It is a pretty heavy frypan, made from solid die-cast metal.

Awesome find. Where did you get the hot plate? Or did you make that?

Found it on ebay a while ago but it is too big for 1:6 scale. It's closer to 1:4 scale but looks ok in some scenes.

Every new year my supplier gives me a Chinese calendar with the "Fú" character meaning "good fortune".
Another gave me a small desktop version, which looks scaled enough our 1/6 environment.
A happy and prosperous new year to everyone!

Thank you Rollo, same to you. And I agree, this looks just right for 1/6 scale. Very neat item.

Was taking a look around to see what stuff I could try and get off of the internet since I don't think I can find most of the stuff posted here locally. Most of what I can find locally is usually beads of different sizes and shapes along with some more unusual ones like keys, seahorses, flowers and sometimes some fairly exotic looking shapes and designs. All I have to share are some gear shapped buttons from walmart though my local fabrics shop also had them

1 - Useful items for sixth-scale environments (continuously updated) - Page 15 PWa6v7A

They aren't too big or too small, they don't lock with each other and run but they look cool. I bought them with a steampunk idea in mind but I haven't used them yet.

Nice finds, TheBoo-bomb.
Lawlaw, you can post your review here or in a separate thread, depending on what you feel is most appropriate. Generally speaking, this one is about items that were perhaps not specifically intended to be used for our sixth-scale figures and dioramas but work reasonably well with them.

the eagles from old bowling and motocross trophies could be pole-toppers for an ancient or futuristic fantasy theme, or weathered and placed amid the rubble of a destroyed govt. building;  lite-gauge guitar string for radio antennae (I thread them inside the clutch and brake cables of motorcycle models to add stiffness)

Yes, indeed. Great way to think outside the box.

In keeping with the quasi/pseudo-Egyptian-like theme of some recent posts (HERE), I put the following simple scene together to show a couple of Bead Landing pieces that I picked up at Michaels some time ago. These are intended as jewelry charms, and include a hand mirror, comb, purse, and high-heeled shoe. The hand mirror and, to a lesser degree the comb, and with a stretch the purse (perhaps if one puts a little fabric backing behind it), are suitable for sixth-scale scenes. The mirror is quite nice and works very well.

Thank you very much, and glad you liked them, too. While I despise this as any sort of "Cleopatra," I find it fun and attractive in a silly, over-the-top fantasy sort of way. So I couldn't resist picking up some of the pieces and reconstituting the set -- partly. This may or may not be the first time I've actually found some use for her on here (history does not remember...).

Great set, great props, good photography, but I don't think blondes had been invented yet in ancient Egypt. ;o)
