Oh, why the open mouth! Otherwise pretty nice. I especially like the first one, with the red hair. Maybe it reminds me of Dana Scully.

She would be a decent stand-in for Dana Scully on the X-Files.

Well, judging from the promo pics, it seems pretty clear how they are marketing this open mouth expression. Maybe it’s to compete with some of the recent Suoerduck releases which weren’t subtle either. Elephant in room.

So, because the promo photos show the sculpt on a body wearing lingerie, this sculpt is intended to portray something specific? Would the assumed intent of the sculpt be different if they showed her in fatigues or dressed as a warrior queen?

If you check out portfolios of portrait work, you'll see that not everyone has their mouth closed all the time. Yes, sometimes there is an erotic implication, but it's far from a rule. I think this sculpt is more versatile. I say this because I have a (Spank Models) sculpt and there is no doubt what the intent of that sculpt is.

I agree the sculpt can be used for other things, but the manufacturer painted themselves into this corner by not showing them in other scenarios, like a warrior queen or in fatigues. Not that we, as customers, can’t think of those things ourselves, but they could have done it themselves if they want to sell them to more people.

I like the E head. Different hairstyle and color. I could make an archer. The front bangs on C appear short. I accidentally ruined my Keres hair and have to reroot the front bangs.

I like the hairstyle of A, I just wish it weren't so red.

It’s about context with this type of expression. As someone on another group pointed out, this could be a singer. It could also be put on a suited figure in an office setting, and she’s having a discussion in a meeting. Many possibilities. GAC sort of boxed themselves in with the impression they’ve given. Nothing wrong with erotic, but it’s limited. It’s interesting to see how this sculpt is being perceived across groups.

I agree, but it's up to the hobbyist as to how they perceive and use a sculpt. The manufacturer may have just shown one of many uses, I'm sure they're aware the sculpt could be used in other contexts as well.

Expression ? Yay ! A sculpt with expression ! ....Oh... it is this kind of expression...
