Phicen, the best dolls in the world

Beautifully done, all the more impressive in this scale. She does look like she is visiting a giant in the 1:6 environment, but fits in.

Amazing furnishing, what a fantastic tiny world - and she looks great. I do like the tiny things, so hard to sew though!

Sultan and odalisques.
Odalisques delight the Sultan's eyes and ears with music and dancing.  Sultan is an action figure of Hot Toys. Truetype Figure TM09 - CAUCASIAN .  Scale 1:6. Odalisques are action figures of Phicen in scale 1:6. The author of the costumes is your humble servant.

Seriously? That’s awesome. I love when people find real world items that work at this scale for other things.

Phicen produced a figurine of Arnold Schwarzenegger. But, obviously, they made a mistake in the proportions. I tried to fix it and see what happened. Which one do you like?

Perhaps too lanky, but definitely more attractive. Too bad it is just spec effects. But I like what you have done with it (the real thing) anyway.

I agree. Beautifully done. It is not the Parthenon (wrong column order and not Spartan), but an impressive diorama prop to display with your beautiful creation.

Friends, I wanted to ask.  Why does Phicen, on the body, have no stitches?  How did manufacturers achieve such a level of perfection?   What is this seamless casting technology ?   What does the mold into which silicone is poured look like?  Is it whole or does it consist of parts?

I remember when you wouldn't experiment with recoloring the bodies because they were too precious. Now you've flayed two of them!?

My guess is different process. Phicen fills the entire mold with skeleton inside with TPE while VeryCool makes two halves of silicone separately. Maybe silicone (as opposed to TPE) can't really be molded like that, with metallic skeleton inside.
