Cardboard tube action tower.

Here are some more shots of the cardboard tube project.
For anyone who has not experienced this type of container, they are thick, rigid and very durable.





Most of these pictures are just musings to see what looks good to me.

I like to see scratch made stuff out of what was potentially garbage . You have both great imagination and skill , I hope you keep us updated on progress .

Great idea! I would probably use it as a tunnel system. That vent they announced not too long ago would probably look awesome!

These are going to be some massive dioramas.

Ooooh I love this! I could see it standing alone in some post apocalyptic desert region, all rusted and corroded from exposure, but providing much needed shelter from the elements.

Those containers are really good, there's one at my grandparents that's about 30 or something years old and still in good shape so that build will last a long time.

I have one of these heavy tubes from my grandfather's time working in a chemical plant that dates back to the 1950s. I still use it for storage.

Thanks for all the positive comments. Though the tower has taken a temporary backseat to the space ship, I recently acquired several 2 foot by 4 foot (roughly 60cm x 120 cm ) tubes. They look perfect for a Stargate Command type corridor. I hope to cut and fit a junction so I can see how it looks.
