Hot Toys Venom Upgrade

Hot Toys Venom 1/6 Figure with a simple decal I got off ebay I now have the Venom figure I really want and I didn't have to wait for Hot Toys to make another. Saving both time and money.

That. Is. Excellent. The Venom we should have gotten in the live action version. Very nice upgrade.

Well done! I know they always want movie accurate, but adding a decal would have been so easy for them.

He looks great. Saving money and time where Hot Toys is concerned is an achievement indeed! I see there is some plastic wrap still hanging from him -- I hope the factory paint is not chipping, or is this just in case?

Yeah he's right out of the box and back in for now.Plastic still in place. He's waiting to be animated.

I actually looked up the hot toys venom and also the movie venom because I thought they all had the logo. I must say the logo really makes it look like the venom I remember, without it he looks naked of sorts.

Thanks. I think so too. Next thing is getting rid of those ugly toes. I hate the look of them.

I was trying to experiment with Inkjet Waterslide decals to do you own, I was thinking of doing tattoos. Unfortunately standard Inkjet printers can't print White and I didn't realized this till after I experimented as the waterslide decal paper is clear. I didn't want to use white decal paper as you would have to cut out exactly to the shape which would be a pain in the butt.

Though any others trying to do this type of mod this is another avenue to try out to get get even more customization easily.
