Hi,

I read some of the posts in this past (now locked) thread:

https://onesixthfigures.forumotion.com/t99-so-should-osf-have-a-mature-section?highlight=mature

This was in 2018, and there was also mention of "the other forum" whose mature section was closed in 2017.

I think that this is a pity: these wonderful highly realistically detailed 1/6 bodies are made for being seen naked. Otherwise if they are not to be seen naked, one could still use articulated plastic bodies to stage some scenes in 2010 style.

Who needs a seamless body, when it is not shown? What about those "large breast" in female models? What about the "details" in the private parts of women body models? They are made to be seen, to be shown.

Therefore, I am answering the question which I posed in the title with a definitive YES!!!

I am aware that there are limits, and that there are Forumotion rules. We need of course to comply with these rules. I read in these rules what is prohibited:

  • "Content of a sexual, obscene, pornographic nature"

Well, that will rule out XXX style hardcore porn. But does it also rule out Playboy-style postings? Probably yes, because these are sexual too...  Crying or Very sad

So, probably my posting here is moot... there seems to be no space on any forumotion forum for any kind of sexual topics.

But actually, dolls are not humans. This is not real sex, this is just the depiction of sex simulation. Therefore, I would argue that showing sex scenes with dolls is not showing sex. And therefore should be allowed here.

Such a section should clearly be marked with "MATURE/ADULT content - enter at your own risk!" so that nobody can claim to be offended. If you don't like erotic depictions, then don't enter that section.

Problematic is only where to draw the line, where to set the limit. My preference would be: no limit. Maybe with a specially autorized age-verification or something. But I believe with dolls ANYTHING is allowed. No women are harmed in creating erotic or porn visualizations with dolls, in stark contrast to real porn movies.

So, are there other opinions about this topic?

Cheers!

While I am generally all for having a discussion and member interest driving forum content, and while I may not be a prude myself, I do not see any point in revisiting this, and riling up people on either side of the issue about it. Even if this forum were not meant to be PG-13, the rules of Forumotion preclude us from having an adult section. Apart from being offensive to some individuals ("rightly" or "wrongly" so is immaterial), adult content is not appropriate for visitors or members below a certain age, and ours is a public website. The issue is simply closed. As pointed out elsewhere, there are other options for materials and discussions outside the scope of this forum.
