Nice backdrops - update February 3rd

In this thread I like to introduce in a loose order some more backdrops purchased at aliexpress. They are temporarily fixed in a book shelf with Velcro. The small ones are 60x90cm and the wide ones are 90x90 cm.

I start with a little Chinese scene with a small backdrop:

I'm always really impressed with how you do the backdrops.

I am curious, do these backdrops come folded with creases or wrinkles? I hesitate buying from aliexpress because I don't want to have to bother with ironing these things -- I want to be able to use them straight away.

The next one is a backdrop with a nature theme. In this case, it is hard to place a large object, the horse, in a manner that appears realistic.

The same backdrop in another scene. The maximum of placeable figures using a small backdrop seems to be three.

I suddenly thought of Forrest Gump and Lt. Dan with this sequence.

'He told us to get down and shut up.'

"Shut Up!"

Interesting, with the horse involved, I was going to assume this backdrop was not actually "small". Seems like you are making optimal use of it.

One word: Captivating. Absolutely, positively captivating.

Unfortunately the ground is a little bit wavy

Nice backdrops and photos. I especially like the sequence with the horse (and bunny).

The floor part of these backdrops is continous with the background picture, right? Do you distort the lower part of a given picture to produce the floor or do you need to fuse two pictures taken at different angles? Sorry for my uninformed questions.

These are the vinyl backdrops from the distance. The photos are taken at the right angle so you can place the floor on the ground (of the book shelf).
The bend of the backdrop is the visual transition from the ground to the background.

Nice effect of the bike in the distance coming toward the camera. Wolvie seems to be taking liberties in that last pic.

So , these come rolled up? I always worry they will come with creases from being folded.

I thought El prints them out at a local shop. Handling it yourself always helps.

If you buy enough at once (7-10?) they normally come rolled up. That what elbundy wrote on another board. If you buy only a few you get them folded.

I havent tried it myself though max had been 3 and they came folded...
