Oh. Oh no.

Not only does this look absolutely nothing like an Ardennais, it doesn’t make a particularly good horse at all. The anatomy is terrible and the feather on the legs is lacklustre too say the least. Don’t waste your money on this one, folks.

So China Model is China Toys after all... one minor potential mystery solved. I was wondering about the quality of the prototype, so thanks, Christine, for weighing in. On the other hand, the feather on the legs is actually hair rather than molded plastic, which I think is a good idea in principle, and, if experience from the relatively remote past is anything to judge by, this may well be a more affordable option. But I'm not the expert on horses, and I think I have enough horses for now anyway.

Improved copies of horses JS Models version ?

I still really like the brown/black versions, even if according to you the horse does not correspond to a real existing horse.

Maybe not realistic as horses, but to pose my "original" figures like ThreeA, it's perfect... around 50€ at SpaceFiguren at the moment, if anyone here is interested
