Another chance to get a La Muerta interpretation. As usual, I like the head sculpt.

Yep, another La Muerta rendition/realization. I think some may take issue with the appearance of the fabric. The head is exquisitely done, but not my thing. The scythe and the base, perhaps the whole set, feels a little too tenuously suspended between realism and animation, with a lot of promising detail, and yet overly simple and clean.

The style of the head, and the exact shape, looks just like the Coo Model Witch Hunter Shaman figures. I really like the head sculpt.

I really like that they offer versions with and without the base. I wish all base included releases gave that option.

Nice figure overall. Depends on in-hand reviews, i might actually get her.

I like the base and accessories and the headsculpt is quite nice. Although i would have prefered a full makeup face or one without instead of half and half. I agree with Gubernator about the suit fabric, kinda bothers me that they are using that cheaper stretchy fabric.

As always, I have to see pics of the final figure, but I am intrigued.   I really want the real La Muerta, but I’m not paying $500+ for the original, and I’m definitely not paying $600 for that upcoming money grab of a TB League set

Definitely an intriguing looking character and she does have a nice looking HS. She might make a nice addition to Lady Death's inner circle but I agree with GubernatorFan about the suit fabric. (I don't like it)

So I will stay with my original Tbleague La Muerta instead. Although if can find her HS loose somewhere (depending on the in hand photos) I could make a new character with my second La Muerta figure maybe?

Mine arrived. Kind of meh overall. Nothing special. Sort of looks like an early Phicen figure (the body is probably a TBLeague); the wrists are weak, and can't really hold that heavy-ass scythe well. The cape is wired, including the hood, so that's a plus, but the "skeleton" effect are just decals on the cloth and I can see those peeling or flaking badly at some point. The base is okay, I guess, nothing special, and the skulls look good (though one is very undersized -- maybe it's meant to represent a small child?). All in all, I sort of regret wasting money on this thing.

To me it looks more like a character wearing a Halloween costume than a character in and of itself, if that makes sense.

Could work for some kind of fun Halloween or horror diorama scene though.

Sorry for your disappointment. Yea the decals on the promos looked like it was painted on. Maybe she could hang around your western graveyard to keep watch over the lost souls from high noon gunfights! The scythe looks quite menacing.

Meant to add that the cloak seems quite nice, though -- it looks really good the way you posed the wiring.
