Despite the slightly goofy looking helmet, the rest of it looks like it would fit right in with any Star Wars display.

LOL. I see what you mean. I wouldn't say any Star Wars display, but he could certainly pass for a rebel-affiliated pilot or even one of Jabba's more clean-cut mercenaries. Looks like a very nice set.

I thought the same thing, that it would make a neat SW kitbash.

It looks like Shin Hayata in his uniform from the old Japanese show Ultraman, which I love. The story is that Ultraman (the alien) crashes into Shin's spaceship accidentally. Feeling guilty, he somehow gets Shin back to full health and he offers him his powers so that Shin can fight some bad giant aliens that are about to invade earth. After coming back to earth, the giant aliens do start invading and Shin secretly transforms into the giant alien Ultraman to fight the bad aliens.

They're also making a reboot movie for Ultraman, and it's actually coming out tomorrow, May 13! It looks awesome!
