I hope these turn out the way the promos look, or at least close to it. I like them all.

Neat. I'm somewhat ambivalent on the heads themselves (kinda like them, kinda meh), but the hairstyles are interesting.

I like the makeup/paint and eyelash wings. The hairstyle with bangs and buns looks pretty cool.

I always welcome hairstyling HS, as it requires more work, and not something that i could do (I could never tie my daughter's hair properly, not to mention 1/6th!).

This are pretty cool. It’s nice that you can get two head sculpts for each hair style and eye placement, but it would have been nice if they just gave them movable eyes.

I love all the black haired versions. But after the recent disappointment with YMToys I am inclined to wait until I see them for real.

Ming is still one of my favorite head sculpts, but the recent Waner sculpts were a disappointment, because the make up wasn't anywhere near the promos, and without it the sculpt was just too plain.

PS: I caved here, too, and will be ordering 74D (long black hair, looking straight).

Yeah, I haven't entirely trusted these guys enough to preorder anything for a long time - when they do hit the mark the results are great, but at least 30% of the time you get something like that.

Credit where it's due for their Experiments In Hairstyling, though. Sometimes if the sculpt is inexpensive enough it can be worth it for the hair cap alone.

I got mine, too, and I don't think it looks THAT bad! But I do think the side glance might be extra bad.

I don't know why it feels so off to me compared to the promos, is it the skin color? The nonglossy pupils? More shades around the eyes?


But yeah, the profile view isn't bad.

These are very specific with those eyes — should have just given them movable eyeballs instead, because now you pretty much always have to have the head tilted down to make that pupil placement make sense — otherwise she looks like she’s about to pass out as her eyes begin to “roll to the back of her head”.

Indeed, but that's what I like. That's why the Winter Soldier Black Widow is still one of my favorite heads. With most heads you have to have them in a somewhat neutral looking ahead type of pose or they are looking up or down. So that's not really all that much more flexible. And I like the tilted down head looking up at you look.

But the paint job is, again, very flat compared to the prototype pictures. There is no noticeable blush or anything. But I always intended to repaint this. Dark skin, blue eyes.

Haha! Yes, I do. Drawing eyes has already been a strength, but it was always at 1:1 scale or digital/zoomed in. This will be a different kind of challenge and I accept the challenge. Hopefully mine will look as good as yours.

(I would have liked the side glance for a change. I am used to this from my fashion dolls that very often come with a side glance.)

Anyone has more pics to confirm that the slanted eyes are a fail? That one picture from the chinese forum looks edited with photoshop. Besides i simply refuse to believe someone at QC ok'd that.

I am just about to order one of these, would really like slanted and pair it with glasses.

found some other photos where it doesnt look that bad. It is confirmed the eyes are off, but theyre not too bad with proper lighting it seems

I have the B & C slanted versions. I wish the eyes weren't angled up quite as much, but I don't think they are a total fail.

Oh dear, the brunette is fire. I wish the hair was shorter, doesnt look anything like advertised though. Placed an order for the brown, quite fond of the look

I agree they aren't a total loss.
Not cool that the hairstyle of the brunette is not at all what they advertised, but it works nonetheless.
