LOADING: Image(s)Kaustik Plastic: Twin Peaks - Special Agent Dale Cooper (Deluxe Version) no.?/200
Arrived today!
I had quick look inside the box to make sure all was ok. Other than one issue, all looks good.
Until i find a home for the figure, Dale Cooper will remain in the box.

Laura Palmer wrapped in plastic is the area i have an issue with. Her portrait paint app looks fine.
The plastic wrap looks fine. The issue i have is with the white material issued to hold the plastic in place.
I assumed the white material would look like 1/6th rope
- but no, the white material looks like flat white ribbon, cut poorly,
and not making much sense in the way it has been wrapped or the cut off points.
In the prototype images the white material is used on 3 places - feet, below knee's, round elbow area,
which makes sense.

LOADING: Image(s)Looking at this, i get the impression the factory failed to understand what the concept was when it came
to attaching the white ribbon fabric (which should look like rope).
From what i can tell, the white ribbon is glued in place.
As for the Deluxe base, it appears to be made from a hollow plastic box. While paint app looks ok,
i think the muddy stony water-side area could look better.

EDIT: Having done some research, it appears possibly that the factory is more correct when it comes to the white ribbon material.
My bad. If i am honest, i prefer what Kaustik Plastic came up with for the prototype.
I might look into attempting to trim the ends of the ribbon, as the fraying ends look nasty.
LOADING: Image(s)I have not watched Twin Peaks for a long time.
Looking at the images from the TV series, i can see now that Laura is wrapped in what appears to be white 'tape'.
If i can find some thin white tape, i should be able to loose the white ribbon
