If I believed the actual head sculpt would look anywhere near as good as these promo pics I'd be sorely tempted! I mean... the Cesar Romero Joker.... errr... Prank Villain?

Prank Villain? I honestly expected Ashton Kutcher.

Eh, you know how I feel about clowns. And I've never really been into Batman villains anyway. However, if the promotional images can be trusted, these would be very nice sets. They look impeccable, and provide multiple options, which is excellent. But like Dave says, we'll see what the quality is in the end.

Well, I’ll let you know when I get mine. Mars showed WIP pics of Penguin and the Riddler (also mentioned that Catwoman and Batgirl are in the pipeline— I’m guessing based on how well these all do).

You're still way ahead of me, and I'm embarrassed.  I had totally forgotten the Pagliacci outfit, so I thought that it was Mars Toys incorporating a clever homage to the Heath Ledger version (rather than the movie homaging the TV show).  Gutsy move on the part of Mars Toys to incorporate so many episode (or movie) specific details, including two complete versions that only had a few minutes of screen time.

Even their two promo pics of the Joker playing with the picture frame reference an actual photoshoot - deep cut -- and they even got the ornamentation details on the frame right. These guys are seriously good.

I really like this. I'm a big fan of Adam West's Batman and Caesar Romero is a must have villain.

Great for 66 fans. Doubt HT will continue the line. Looks like a 66 version of batman and robin was also recently announced by a "Saturn" toys as well.

I agree, it looks great!

VERY impressive.  Extreme expressions are always dangerous territory, and they went for 3 of them, that are not only very extreme but quite specific (distinctive, iconic to the actor,) and apparently nailed them all.  Kudos.

This is really one of those things where you wish that Cesar Romero were alive to see it.

Mars Toys - Prank Villain

Arrived today
I took these out of the box shots using a Samsung S22 (..and resized smaller to a 1/4 of their original size)

Once i have a home for the figure i will work on the pose etc.
First impressions are very good.
As far as i am aware, i think these sold out some time ago. What i received is a 2nd batch. I guess the figure was popular enough for a 2nd batch to go into production.

I was really impressed by the box. While it is not Hot Toys quality, it is better than the sort of box Sideshow Collectibles ship their 1/6 figures in.

I pretty much like everything about the figure. If i was to be picky then i would mention that the ankles are loose, not Big Chief Studio's level of loose, but loose all the same. The shoes, while they look ok, do feel on the cheap side.

Glad you like him. Wrap some plumbers tape (you really don’t need a lot) around the ankle peg and that should tighten the joint up.

I'll try some plumbers tape. PTFE tape as it is called.

I'm not sure if you are aware, but they changed some things for the second batch like using magnets for the vest, which for some did not hold as well as the buttons they had before. Also there was a missing hand gesture for some. In any case, there is a replacement set available on onesixthkit, but you'd need to pay for shipping which is like 10 bucks.

I have not looked into magnets on the vest (do you mean green shirt?)
The figure is boxed up right now, thus cannot check the hand count. Which gesture (if any) is missing?

I just opened the box. Including the 2 hands attached to the figure, there are a total of 14 hands included.
Which is the same number shown in one of the pictures in the OP

There is supposedly a left hand that is doubled up and the one in the replacement set is the one that was missing.

From what i can tell my Joker has an equal set of left and right gloved hands
Having checked the vest i can confirm that my Joker has pop together metal buttons.

Either they fixed Batch 2 or i have received a Batch 1 Joker ?
I do know that the ebay seller could not send out the Joker until the new batches arrived in stock.
On the front of the box is the code MAT013-A

You should be good then! They must have fixed or indeed you did get a first batch joker. Looks like the replacement hand is in your set . I have just been following the official mars page on FB when people complained about the 2nd batch and the replacement set.

Looks so nice. I hope these continue to be a hit and the line can continue long enough to get around to doing Vincent Price as Egghead and Victor Buono as King Tut, two of my faves.

There is an ebay seller who already makes custom heads that do look very good,
but you pay as much for one of those as you would for a whole clothed figure here.

Having an Egghead already fully clothed would be so “eggsellent”.
