Probably not quite the worlds most expensive cuddly toys, but they'll be close!

Pretty big actually? Looks like Pooh is about 9.4 inches, an I'd guess he'd need to be a lot smaller than that to be in scale with 1/6 figures. Very curious what Hot Toys is charging for these.

I have a soft spot for Winnie the Pooh. There's a bit of meloncholy to it. it's like the indie rock of Disney cartoons. The 2011 movies is quite good (John Cleese Narrated!) and I want to get out to Christopher Robin asap.

I didn't even notice these are Hot Toys. I've never really been into this (not even as a kid), so I have a hard time relating to them, and that's besides the scale issue. I suppose another subconscious issue is the fact that they are supposed to be toys, and they look exactly like that, toys, made big. But the quality looks pretty good, which should be no surprise.

They'll probably have very similar figures in the Disney Store for a fraction of the price.

I do think these have more appeal than just as a nostalgic reminder of their childhood love of Winne the Pooh. I just saw Christopher Robin the weekend, and while their is some big visual tomfoolery to entertain the little ones, it's themes are entirely aimed at adults, and about not growing up and loosing the attributes that define our happiness as children (something I think the toy loving crowd on here should appreciate). There's actually a great book called the Tao of Pooh, about how Pooh exemplifies the core philosophical ideals of Taoism. There's actually a lot going on with Pooh that's worth revisiting as adults.

Also, the new movie is actually quite fantastic.

Does anybody have these? I'd love to see owner pictures. I just bought the Winnie the Pooh set without Piglet.
