..as performed by a nameless character constructed from leftovers. Leftovers from other Projects

I have 2x pairs of denim shorts on order for Project - Normal / Skater Girl. Which ever pair fails to work / fit, Project - Leftovers will get to wear them.

The leftovers in the image above came from Project - Mathilda, Project - Arctic Gun Girl and Project - Normal / Skater Girl
The body is by VERYCOOL, and i have to admit, while it is ok, it is only suitable for characters that wear loose fitting cloths, as the middle section is lumpy with large gaps around the upper leg area.
The portrait is supposed to be Scarlett Johansson. It looks quite good. Although it looks like Scarlett Johansson with a different shaped nose and red hair.

Nice, looking forward to how she turns out. I personally like when I buy stuff to put together a figure and inadvertently a second one can be made, probably one of those simple 1/6 pleasures.

Just a bit of fun on my part..
The fact is, i have a number of left-over items, and the items are increasing.
Maybe the character in question (who has no name) could evolve, and possibly front a store containing 1/6th scale items

Looking forward to seeing her progress.

White Denim Shorts
Left over from Project - Normal Girl / Skater Girl
On arrival, i could see the shorts were off white, not white white. Also, they were on the large side for the body that is being used for Normal Girl / Skater Girl
NOTE: The shorts ship with a orange belt, which snapped on my 1st attempt to use it.

White Crop Short-sleeve Shirt
Left over from Project - Normal Girl / Skater Girl
Rejected as the quality was not their. It's ok, not great..

Black Bikini (top and bottoms)
Left over from Project - Normal Girl / Skater Girl
Rejected as the quality was average at best.

Red Shades
Left over from Project - Mathilda
They came in a pack of 3, the other 2 pairs of shades being black.

White Baseball Cap
Left over from Project - Arctic Gun Girl
The cap refused to stay on the portrait. In the end i decided the cap failed to fit the theme.
NOTE: On the subject of quality, the plastic cap looks good.

Portrait - Scarlett Johansson
Project - ? (more news on this project come the future)

Switched out the red shades for black shades.
Demin trousers (or pants as the US calls them) - left over from Project - ?
White long sleeve top came free with the demin trousers that i have used for Project - ?

I turned the white baseball cap around, rock / rap style (i think that's what you call it?)
All seams / joints now invisible thanks to the cloths.
The figure is looking ok'ish.. although i think more could be done with the hair.

I could cut the demin's down and add a pair of trainers / sneakers to create a (board) skater girl

Looking really good, I like her!

I think she is an undercover investigator (or she would be, as soon as you get her some "gumshoes"). And I think you mean denim.

The shades add to investigator vibe. Gumshoes, i think a pair of those could complete this character.
What color do you suggest?

I think any color sneakers would do — blue and white can go with just about anything.

I have been looking at the figure today, and decided to glue the baseball cap in place, thus preventing it from popping off, and forcing it to sit correct. Job done!
Something about the frizzy hair that has to go. At some point, i can see the hair being cut shorter.

This as yet un_named character is slowly shaping up into something i like.

Cutting the hair shorter (gone is the frizzy) helped make the portrait look less jokey.
I placed the original white top over the current white top, and created a cross-over design at the front.
The base-ball cap and black shades have been super-glued in place, as they kept falling off. The cap fits correctly and the placing of the shades (slightly lower on the nose) looks more natural, slightly cooler.

On-a-side-note..
Gumshoes, sneakers, trainers, sport shoes..
I have decided to go with white slip-on high-heels.. as it seems to make sense, as she looks slightly classy with her new shorter hair style

Also, i have considered bleaching the denim's, as they look too new at the moment. I also thought about making horizontal slashes to the denim's to up the fashion stakes. Maybe, maybe not???

Today i decided to loose the new look Denim's and make them look distressed.
All that was required was some bleach and a craft-knife.

Over all i am happy with the results. The distressed Denim's look more true to real-life.

That turned out great. Nice work on the jeans.

I ended up with two of these bodies, as they shipped with portraits i purchased.
The good news is, i have found a use for the white shorts, mostly by hiding them.

I agree. Great work with the jeans, very convincing. Mind you, pristine jeans might have been more appropriate for high heels, but it is your vision.

The issue with the pristine Denim's is that they lacked that something, and looked like low-cost geeky jeans,
which failed to fit with the character who would probably not be seen dead wearing such jeans

Among the various photo's of ripped Denim's Google provided, the image on the left helped with the pose.

For the record, i had already ordered some white footwear for the figure,
before seeing the image on the left, which happens to be wearing white high-heel shoes.

Now that i have seen this image, i am half tempted to paint the toe-nails white.

Today i received a free gift all the way from China
The reason being, i have had a *figure on order and the (ebay) seller has taken longer than normal to ship the figure.

Meanwhile.. the seller had messaged me to let me know that they had sent something to make up for the delay (which was nice).

Today a small package arrived and inside there appeared to be a belt.
Too small for 1/6th scale. I figured it was 1/12 scale. I figured it might make for a 1/6 scale necklace.
What do do you think? ..i think it works well enough.
It appears to be a round silver metal piece attached to a dark strip with a small belt buckle. Maybe it is supposed to be a necklace?

Is the figure i have been waiting on. Obviously the seller did not have the item in stock.
I am wondering - either i will receive a Chinese knock-off or the seller has contacts who can obtain the original?
Time will tell.. so long as the figure look good in person, that is all that counts!

The 2nd Leftover is coming on great!
The blonde haired portrait failed to work well enough on Skater Girl ( https://onesixthfigures.forumotion.com/t6569-project-normal-girl-skater-girl )
Being what might be a Chinese knock-off head sculpt, the hair looks a little messed up at the front. A western style hat soon fixed that!

To finish the character off, the plan is to add a waistcoat, boots, and leg coverings (to cover those knee joints).
For the record, i was inspired by a character from a movie, which i will disclose here later on.

This duo could be a team, similar to Cagney & Lacey, Thelma & Louise to name two i can think of.

Looking great so far Shaun! I like the cowboy hat . Teaming them up as partners sounds like a fab idea.
