Incredible 1/6 scale stopmotion!

I stumbled upon this guy’s Instagram this evening and just, damn, this is easily the most realistic and fluid stopmotion I’ve ever seen with 1/6 scale figures! They really appear to have weight and balance as they move!

These two basketball ones genuinely made me doubletake because I didn’t even register the joints at first. Absolutely incredible.

I’ve dabbled in stopmotion over the years so I know how hard it is to look realistic but damn, this guy has it absolutely nailed!

That really is fantastic art . If that guy isn`t making a living from animating there is something wrong somewhere . I bet you will bump his followers . Glad you found and shared it .

yeah hes VERY good at his job!!!!
i had a quick look and he does at least some animation for a job, looks like he did something for mattel and hot toys.
i would love to find the time to try some animation like this, but as it stands i find it hard to even set up to make still pics at the minute haha, so millions of stills may be beyond my capabilities

Pam's words are mine. I'm blown away. Making such fluid animation on stop motion demands a LOT of skill, and this dude has it leveled to the max! I believe he's working with 24 or 30fps to achieve such smooth movement, which is impressive.

Wow! I had seen the ribbon cutting Marvel one before but not the rest. I remember asking about stop motion way back when, but you’re right! This guy nails it!! Pretty incredible!
