Thanks Ephiane! sometimes, even the smallest change can create a huge difference. Io often sit positioning these figures, just to see whats possible with them . Nah, my jeep is a 21st century jeep. they are wonderfully detailed vehicles, but very expensive now, sadly .

So what happened to the team before the dinosaurs starting chasing them?

As the day breaks on Hazard Island, Dax turns to his companion, and says, "It's quite a hike for us to get to the compound, Doctor Tibias is in, Annabelle.., Annabelle!"



"What?" replied AnnaBelle as she continued to tickle the small dinosaur under the chin.
"The compound, remember?" continued Dax, slightly irritated. "Banner has already gone on ahead, we need to get going."
"Okay, okay..." protested AnnaBelle, but she knew he was right.



At the secret base...

All hell breaks loose as Dax and Banner storm Doctor Tibias office at the secret jungle base.



Doctor Tibias scrambles to retrieve the fallen secret files...




Banner desperately wrestles with a much stronger Tick-Tock...



Dax lands a powerful punch on Diablos' chin!



CLICK the exit door slammed shut behind the team as they made their escape...

"You said the way was clear!" snarled Dax at AnnabBelle.
"No, I just said this corridor is clear, how was I supposed to know what was on the other side of the door!" AnnaBelle snapped back!
"Will you two give it a rest!" interrupted Banner, "We need to get outta here!"

Haha, nice one. Nice little messy office scene! 
And I have a feeling we'll see that little critter again. He has made a friend, clearly.

Vibrant scene. The messy office interior is excellent, as always. The dinos are fun and the male figures look so realistic! Well, maybe not Diablos!

Run, Doctor!

"Run, Doctor, get to the motor pool, we can get transport there!" barked Banner, as Doctor Tibias ran at full sprint, dropping papers as she went...



Holding the line.

"I'll hold the line here, you guys go! Catch the Doctor" ordered Dax.



Catch the Doc!

Banner sets off after Doctor Tibias and AnnaBelle.



No one on their tail...

Dax is finally satisfied that no one is following them...



Catch the others.

He turns tail and runs to catch up with his companions!



There's the jeep!

Finally! the jeep, but...



Not again!

"Not again! are these things everywhere?" moaned Banner.



Unwanted guests...

"Damn unwanted guests! now blast 'em and let's get that jeep!" ordered AnnaBelle.

And so the team make their escape, but who is watching them on the security footage?

Another vivid scene. And I hope no dinosaurs were harmed during filming. Diablos is so going to get them!

Cheers Ian! I suspect Diablos got a way with a bruised ego, and possible broken nose!

I took this picture way back in March 2019. I was never really happy with it, and although it didn't turn out to bad I always wanted to re-shoot it at some point. However, like so many things, the idea was shelved and forgotten about until someone on flickr faved it here is the original shot, that was titled Ambush.



So I set about re-shooting it. I was going to use the same figures as the original, but decided I wanted to use new a new cast of figures instead. Here are the resulting pictures, enjoy!

Having extracted Conner from a Diablos stronghold, the Black Knights unit now face a fierce gun battle as they run the gauntlet through the enemy ranks swarming the small city...
"We have to go, Commander" came a shout from Minty, behind Jericho.
"No, we must wait, too many troopers ahead!"
"We have to go now, Jericho, we have incoming troops, if we don't move, we'll be caught in a pincer movement!" shouted Dannii, as the enemy troops approached.
"Move it, Conner! we're moving NOW!"

Well-armed group (both old and new), but it looks they are in a bind. They need more cover. Or, as Minty suggests, change position, fast.

Yes! things don't look good for them at the moment, but maybe they can find a way out?

I shot an original black & white shot of Jenna, way back in 2017 (gosh that seems so long ago?).



I always wanted to re-shoot it, and I've learnt a lot about figure posing, and scene setting over the years since. So seven years later, here we go!








Also, Way back in 2017, I shot a picture using these two hot Toys, Resident Evil characters, Ada & Leon, called the last stand. Like the Jenna pictures previously, I was never really happy with the original and always wanted to re-shoot it.



Here are the results of the latest re-shoot, enjoy!






I've really enjoyed re-shooting these older pics, it's a lot of fun and rewarding too. I hope you guys enjoy them too, thanks for looking!

Jenna looks so good in black and white.
That's just a classic look, jeans and nothing else
Plus I thought the few first photos came with a twist because these bracelets with a chain looked like handcuffs.

The last stand looked good the way it was, but of course the realistic background makes it better.

Pretty cool reshoots. Much better.

Leon and Ada appear more heavily armed this time around. Apparently they learned to be better prepared on their last mission!


The New & Improved background makes a world of difference in the "excitement level" (and the overall visual interest) of the photos.

Neat idea of recreating old photos, sometimes I forget that it is entirely possible to recreate old 1/6 pictures, as these are no real situations lost in time, but staged environments.

You get extra points for hiding the hand and ankle joints.

And I guess you also did something similar with your Actionman, who turned into a tbleague Chris Evans.

Really cool team photos and my favorite 80's style bad guy too! Love that dude's look.

Thanks so much . @ handcuffs, you know, I never thought of that while shooting the pics . I was really pleased with how they came out.

yeah, those damned zombies just won't stay down! I agree that adding the door set in the stone wall does bring the pics to life a lot more, and as you say, makes them more interesting to look at .

Really pleased you get the idea of recreating older pics Ovy . It really is a lot of fun, plus it's really rewarding too. I've learned so much since doing these pics originally, like covering the ankle and wrist joints where possible, and working (though, I still struggle at times) with lighting.
Yeah, I did indeed follow the same ideas when I upgraded my old Action Man. He is now enjoying a well deserved retirement with a few of my childhood survivors. They've passed the torch onto a new set of 'actors' for their missions .

Oh gosh, thats a question . I can't actually remember, but it came with a 1930's style adventurer clothes set. I purchased when I first got into the hobby, probably about fifteen years ago . Maybe someone heer will know?

No problem, I just happen to received this head from someone for a paintjob as "Brandon Fraser" from the mummy and while I can see it with the nose, I think he doesn't really look like him. Too thin. So I was wondering if he is someone else.

I have to agree, I don't think he looks at all like Brandon at all? I hope you post a few pics before you send him back to the chap who requested the paint job .
