I wasn’t too impressed about the mix-and-match camo gear when the figure first came out, even if it was kind of accurate to the online pics on the GBRS site.

I slowly sourced all the bits from the R version. Some of the rifle bits took the longest.

The result is a less cluttered looking trainer. If I can find some darker coloured breaching charge pouches, I’ll swap those out too. Last time I remember those being released was the 26018 Direct Action Breacher. Good luck finding those though. Still not quite how I want it, but it’s mostly there.

All parts are from the E&S 26052 R&S figures, except the Multicam Black blowout kit pouch which is from the E&S CBI 27005 figure.

The new Mk3 body really holds poses well with those stiff joints.

Cleaner, leaner and way more realistic Rhino. Nice work!
Any plans to weather him up some?

Great looking figure! I like him a lot, particularity the head sculpt. Which sculpt is that?

I don't recall the particulars about the original, or have any expertise on how it should be, but he looks great.

Not sure if I will do much weathering to it since it's a trainer. A lot of the GBRS photos show them doing training work indoors, so I wouldn't have to doo a lot of weathering to make it look pretty accurate.

That's the original head sculpt that came with the figure.

This is the post I did on the unboxing review. The figure was quite a mix-and-match of gear.

The latest E&S Mk3 bodies are quite good. Joints are nice and stiff, and really hold poses well.
