I kinda love these -- especially the first and last versions. I wonder if "Obesity x 1" means a pleasantly plump (or was it voluptious?) body. It's got to. And does anyone know anything about those chairs (they used the same type in the other new product photos -- with the plaid shirt) and tables?

My guess is the furniture will eventually come up for PO at some point (just like the Mr. Z Tiger -- that's the piece I really want).

Wow, I love this guy!  He's awesome and all the outfit choices are amazing!  Now...how do I get the $$$ for all these goodies?!  This is terrible! LOL If I had him, I'd probably just play with him and give him the biggest wardrobe. I've already decided with my girls that I am never taking their clothes off again (I don't care about staining) as they were so fiddly to put on, I never want to go there again! LOL. But this guy, oh man, he is awesome!

Oh, you're just getting started, Grasshopper. The expense in this hobby can get out of control quickly. And I've pretty much done the same with ALL of my bashed figures. Once an outfit goes on -- that's it. For every new outfit, I get an entirely new HS and new body. I have about 50 heads sitting around without bodies; and I don't even know how many outfits. I end up getting these things because I like them, and in this hobby if you don't get things in a fairly short amount they either disappear, or they go on scalper-bay for super high amounts (head sculpts stick around a bit longer -- but outfits seem to get jacked up).

Haha, omg, so true. I've only been doing this for less than a year, and already I completely understand exactly what you mean. Both regarding the expense adding up quickly, but then simultaneously feeling compelled to get stuff while you can, cause damn, it does go fast. I just picked up a particular pair of boots that I'd been trying to find for about six months now, because despite ridiculous price (and the added expense of being located in the US, eek!) and the fact that I'm not even working on that particular figure yet, I couldn't risk missing out on them and never seeing them available anywhere again.

I likewise agree with you all about not removing clothing once it's on -- unless I'm doing a modification of an existing figure (such as upgrading to a better body), once *my* figure is done, I tend to just leave it that way. In some cases, certain pieces of clothing have to be almost sewn on or 'pinned' in a way to make them look right, and it's just too much hassle to remove them. So yeah...making several different versions of the same characters is completely normal to me. ;p

But back to the subject  at hand....what a fun set!! I especially like his double-breasted suits/vests.... I could see several scenarios (historical, steampunk, Firefly-esque sci-fi, comic-book, etc) where those would be just the perfect Look (TM). ;D

Just the figure alone, and the head sculpt, would have been perfect for a character that I had custom clothes made for after adding a "fat suit" to a pre-existing skinny figure -- and it's still hard to tell that he has a little paunch. I tried using the WorldBox "Dad Bod," but honestly, those were kind of useless -- there isn't enough paunch on those for it to even show under clothes. Most older guys with beer bellies (like myself), you can tell, regardless of what shirt they have on. Then I bought the "fat" body by WorldBox without the head sculpt (it was originally designed for some over-weight wrestler), but that's even more useless, as there are ZERO heads big enough (or round enough) to pass for a guy that weight. So I like the fact that these sets actually include the body and head -- whoever it might be.

Good point about the body being included , that’s really helpful! Glad there’s a figure like this out there now, that also comes with his own lil wardrobe. ^.^

I've gone looking but I can't find this head.  I have found the body, but no clothes.  Where do you get this?  Isn't it amazing, if you have clothes made for you, you can look good with any body type, eh?

Ok... I think I need every bit of this lol... From the furniture to the headsculpt to the coats and all the outfits in fact... bankruptcy is coming early this year!

Regarding clothing in general - my lot are spoiled beyond belief - I’ve got nearly three drawers full of clothes and shoes now, all sorted by type!

No, the info I post is generally pre-PO information. I get most of it from a Chinese site that has to be translated (BBICN), and usually within a day, or sometimes a week, the information reaches the retailers.

some really nice pieces in here! i wonder if this will include a new body or the world box fat body?
or even just a a fat suit? i just got the hyper realistic homer simpson head that came with a fat suit, and i have to say its the best fat suit i have seen! quite a realistic shape to it. although the head itself was a pain in the ass to fit to a body! it didnt even come with a ferrite ring. i had to pull apart another body to assemble the figure ahh welll eh hehe

Yeah i can do that
although i've been off work all week with flu, so might not be the fastest. saying that its hardly a "hot off the press" item is it?

i do have quite a bit of fashion clothing for 1/6 but none of it is on display hardly, i just dont seem to have the space for it somehow?
so i would like these but it just dosnt fit into what i mainly get these days.
