Darksiders 2 "Death comes for all" - Custom 1/6 scale Death

Howdy-do everyone ! It's been a while. Sharing an old piece that I had always wanted to have but was too poor to commission ! It is not 100% game accurate but I hope you guys like it as much as I do !

Scratch building the Rose Scythes




Early work done on Death
- Drybrushing combination of Whites, Greys and Blues
- Head is from a recasted Kumik head (that came with their early nude body offering) modded then sculpted over. I should have applied a slightly darker wash to the mask (as it's too white)
- Haired (it was my first time !)



Pictures with a brighter backdrop.
- Armour and bones scratch built with Aves Apoxie (and left finger prints on a few areas i know)
- Adjustable flat rings were sculpted over to form the knee pads
- All fabric items from pants to (wired) shemagh were hand sewn/dyed/distressed
- Death's amulet (where the souls of the slain Nephilim are stored) were halves glued together and then linked

That is sick!! Awesome figure, and great details. I agree, though, about the face being a little too white. After watching the video you posted, a bit of a wash, or something, to bring out the details in the face would be cool. Excellent work.

Beautifully done! I agree about the face being a little too white, but I have no doubt you can easily improve that and it will fit more seamlessly with your gorgeous figure.

Pretty cool texture on the body. You have to make Fury, Strife, and War.

Damn! Absolutely nailed it. The hair looks perfect (I can't believe it was your 1st time doing it) an I love the look of the crystals. They add a great pop of different texture and color. Such an awesome figure!!!

though i'm not into that particular game myself, i always enjoy pixels come to life, and you nailed it. love the detail and energy you put into your figure and it clearly shows.
i still enjoy gaming more than 1/6(mainly because of the impossible task of recreating the whole game world to put the figure into perspective) but one without the other, there'd be a vital part missing to enjoy each the way i do.

if that makes any sense

really reached the next level with being able to print your ingame models and really hold it in your hands. the german word "begreifen" captures this pretty well in my opinion.

They're part of a NickNack haul I did. No idea what they are but here is what it is before being worked on.

I made my version of Strife and also the Chaoseater but not War..
Not feeling Fury - and with the amount of armour she has on - she might as well be a statue lol

I've stopped gaming after Xbox upgraded their platforms/consoles for the umpteenth time - it started to annoy me how the upgrades did not include compatibility to play games from the older versions and so I stopped.

What a piece of Art ! You nailed this Character. Skin texture, Hair, Sculpt and the Weapons ! Fantastic
