The Pinup Patrol In Evolution: The uneneding Kitbash.

It's been a while since I've posted any photos of my growing post-apocalyptic Pin-Up Patrol, though I haven't been idle by any means.  I've finally added a non-Asian figure to the team with more to come in the future and have been adding bits and pieces of kit to all the others, most notably I was able to get three identical small assault packs from Monkey Depot a few weeks ago and so Kamiko, Gogo, and Miyori have all been issued with one.  I don't yet have a pack for my newest member, but that too shall come eventually.  Another thing I don't have for her is a name.  If anyone has any suggestions what to name this chesty blonde, please feel free.  Her backstory is that she was originally part of a different group of survivalists (they call themselves "preppers" these days) but this group was wiped out by a rival group and she is the only survivor.  After encountering the Pin-Up Patrol and realizing they had overlapping objectives, she threw in her lot with them.

New Mexico or Arizona.

I'm thinking her nickname should be "Jugs."

Nice new recruit. Well, I did correct "Evolotion" to "Evolution," but please don't call her "Jugs"! I mean, you haven't given any of the others such nicknames, have you? Hmmm... Arizona... Sky? I think that's some sort of movie reference.

"Jugs" is just a place holder until I have a better name to give her. I've been thinking of using a name like "Luna Kabooma," but that would be more appropriate for an explosives expert or AT weapons specialist.

'Sky' is nice... and Luna is too.

Another that came to mind was 'Sage'.

And I think she looks like a Delilah or Sadie. Or a Victoria. Depending on her character! And there would be lots of old world songs to draw some inspiration from. Queen, Plain White Ts and Tom Jones for Delilah, while Queen is my favourite here. Spinners and Beatles for Sadie and The Kinks for Victoria. I know they are not the Radio Kings/Queens, but thats what came to my mind!

Well, if there's going to be a musical theme, then "Patricia"  as in "Patricia The Stripper" comes to mind.

The backpacks I think are part of the essential and visible gear that would be carried by members of any well-organized group.

I also found looking up names of female characters in Westerns quite interesting...

LOL those were some comprehensive lists of names. They probably reflect regional demographics, but many would plainly clash with the figure's super Nordic appearance (Guadalupe, Esmeralda, etc), and whoever classified "Ximena" (also spelled "Jimena") as a "modern" name (which was surely not Mark himself) was high on something having to do with other Spanish female names (or something worse)...

The head reminds me of the one from the ACE "Play Company" set, so, going with loose Vietnam era associations, maybe Jane? Or Barb (from Barbarella -- yep, all blondes look the same to me, apparently). Or Thora (to go with the Nordic look, a name out of Agatha Christie's ABC Murders)?

Yeah, she's definitely a Nordic type.  I kind of like "Heidi." How does "Heidi Hauser" sound?

An exhaustive list of names that I will keep for when I find a head sculpt that looks a bit more Hispanic.  In fact, I'd like to find a bunch, given where my characters are located. Mind you, Patsy, Billie, Vanessa, Denise, Monica, Janie, and Mia seem pretty neutral and universal.

No, as I pointed out in in an earlier post, some are not. Still, I'm going to keep the list if only because Hispanics should compose a large fraction of the overall force.

I think Heidi would work out. I prefer Hauser to Heffner, but it's your character, not mine.

"Heidi Hauser" does have a certain ring to it.

Nice additional photos. But have you considered that Heidi could use some pectoral support?
