They are two butt-ugly chairs - especially the first one. These guys must have a policy of taking all of the chairs on the market today, tossing out anything that has any kind of aesthetic or ergonomic appeal, and reproducing what is left. Their last offering was just as bad.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, although I also don't like the first type particularly. Still, some of these could do quite nicely in our dioramas.

I like that first one, would look nice in some formal living room or office, the second is a bit less to my taste but both are way better than their first offerings that had nothing to do with "modern".

The second one is better than the first, I feel I could make the first with a couple of blocks of foam and vinyl (sorry Christine I've not watched your video yet) but and I find myself in total agreement with Shazzdan for once they are both nasty designs.

Knock on wood, ours are out, and there's supposed to be rain on the way (since we're doing some home repairs that is mixed news). Thanks for your concern! Dan, I hope you're keeping safely away from trouble (fire or other).

Thanks for your concern guys. I'm on the coast but in the middle of the state. The worst fires are to the south and north. There are a couple around 20 km away but they are under control. The worst thing that has happened to us is that my son missed out on a camping trip a few days ago. I tried to put it into perspective for him by asking how he would feel if we lost our entire house like many have in these fires.

FWIW here is VS-Toys' last chair. They have done some cool furniture in the past but I'm not liking where they are going lately.

Their earlier stuff is better
