Devil May Cry is not the hottest anime right now, and its been released quite sometime ago. Cheaper licensing?

At this point, I’d imagine it’s both. But, yes, it started as a video game — and it’s my understanding that Asmus is basing all these DMC figures on the games versions.

That base looks pretty sweet. The rest of the set boasts some pretty impressive detail and I would think it conveys the source pretty well.
