Thanks, this one would be very useful once more fitting heads are found.

Thanks again, although they are a bit more stylized. The first one could be turned into something more natural looking by sizing down the eyes, maybe.

Here's the type of 'little girl' head I was thinking of -- there's also a bald version and a blond version floating around out there, I think. I was under the impression that it's perhaps a knock off of the 'Lakor baby' figure's head, but I could be mistaken.

Also came across this one, though the size on it is not entirely clear to me:

Obviously these are a bit simplistic and not necessarily the most detailed paintjobs, but thought I'd mention in case they are helpful.
Thanks a lot! And yes I think those are Monk boy knockoffs in a way. And rather gender neutral looking, here I found a bald one:

The second one also looks like it could depict boys and girls, much will change through hair and accessories.

Hah yeah that one is great
Although a bit too stylized.

That said, I do have a few child dolls for the sake of variety and as an excuse to collect miniature toys. XD
This girl has the cheap body seen above, with a vintage Barbie ‘Chris’ head. The articulation is actually pretty damn good considering the price and I got another couple afterwards - I’m going to attempt to dye one to a darker skin tone.

Here’s my current selection of young people with Jonas and Juno for scale. XD

1: Mattel ‘Batman vs Superman’ body with 90s Aaron Carter head.
2: Barbie ‘Made to Move’ body with ‘Tris’ from Divergent head
3: Mattel ‘Harry Potter’ (GoF version)
4: Mattel ‘Creatable World’ body with vintage Skipper head
5: Barbie ‘Stacie’ with EAH arms
6: Barbie ‘Skateboarding Stacie’ (older)
7:’Lazytown’ doll
8: Breyer Traditional rider body with junior rider head
9: Vintage Barbie ‘Carla’
10: Knockoff Obitsu 10cm body with Breyer junior rider head
11: Unknown brand eBay body with vintage Barbie ‘Chris’ head
12: Vintage ‘Miss Amanda Jane’
13: heavily customised ‘Lil Handfuls’ doll
The Creatable World dolls make really good young teenagers and they’re deliberately gender neutral in terms of body type which could be handy.

Wow thanks a lot for all the work. Good to hear about the Obitsu body, might give this one a try.
Again, most a bit too stylized for my purposes, although Harry might work.
#13 is a bit uncanny, though. Speaking of uncanny babies, I heard about newborn dolls first on this forum some time ago. ( A link about adding hair I think) Thought they might be American Horror Style monster baby puppets first.
Of course, they are creepy and wondered what was going on with people buying them, but learned some sad things about grieving mother's who lost their babies and have those puppets for therapeutic purposes etc. Not sure what to think of it now, but definitely won't judge either.
And more I found out: the Wolf Boy is not one of the Lakor babies, the reason why he is much less expensive I guess.

The official head for Obitsu bodies is stylized/oversized.
And I guess there is a Natalie Portman figure from the Leon movie, but it's older now and rather expensive, hard to find I think.
About infants, I found silicon baking forms for babies to put on cakes (well, we won't judge ..) but not sure yet about the size and level of detail. Making a baby bundle with only the head showing is always an option:

There was another form, but can't find it anymore. Guess they are too large anyway.
Thanks again all you busy detective people!
