[NSFW] [3/30] Roy - Stupid sexy fantasy armor - Part Vl

 My Post Apocalyptic project took a lot of time, resources and motivation away from that project, some optional details still missing and minor repairs to be done. 

Today I finally received my last 1/6 packet for this year maybe, three seamless bodies for new characters. One was the 23b, my first one not counting the Painkiller Jane. It's the new version.

So, before making clothing for it which might be non- or hardly removable, I experimented with Roy's old armor to see how it fits, as I might one day upgrade it. The old Triad Toys body is rather short compared to all those tall tbleauges etc. surrounding her on the shelf, making her look funny. The 'right' body for Roy would have much stronger arms, smaller chest and a straighter, stronger waist than any available body, but the 23b comes closest.

As I expected, without padding it looks stupid, especially the chest piece that was tailored on the Triad body. 




The arms look really skinny with the bulky armor, but they would be padded a lot.


Next to the original body (which is wearing 3mm shoe soles already!) It's visibly taller.


So what now? 
I would have to make a new chest piece, shoes and clothing/padding and upgrade the gloves, so I think I won't do it, for a while at least.



But without the chest piece, it looks very stupidly/tbleauge-like pinup-ish. But still badass somehow.
So the shooting turned into some kind of badass sexy heavy metal parody.

But that's not all of it, a lot more available worthy of a NSFW label, but all 'tasteful', with strategically placed items, shadows and limbs covering lower parts, a lot of upper body bareness though. I will post them if anyone is interested.

Actually I think she looks great, especially sans chestplate and plus fur. I think the chestplate is also salvageable (though I agree it ends up looking rather too bulky), as it is indeed more realistic than what they normally provide for female warrior figures.

As for more revealing images, please continue to keep it clean when posting images on here -- nothing objectionable so far, I think.

She looks good. I agree, the chest piece is too bulky, but the fur additions are cute.

 Thanks a lot! And yes it's salvageable, a s23 chest armor would be longer, flatter, and more segmented, have more experience with that now. And yes, more 'realistic' chest armor was the goal, non distinguishable from a male warrior on the first glance.

Well, the Rit Dye thread is more revealing than this will be, I am sure. And the poses are civil, but you judge and I will keep your laws!

Nothing more to say! Well, one happy little accident: while wiping off the fur/leather with water, a convenient Fireman Chad hero sweat effect was achieved.

She's looking good! that's such a photogenic headsculpt. And the fur and armour combo may be fantasy, but it still seems more in keeping with your own established aesthetic than tbleague, so no worries there. ;D

Maybe its a fashion photo shoot. Who doesn't want armor after all?

Very striking and effective upgrade, I love the whole design and she looks super badass; I can picture her being in one of the Dragon Age games. The chestplate doesn't look too bulbous from a direct front view. I also admire the tasteful nude shots, these are beautiful bodies and it's nice to see peeks here and there.

I'm Wondering if Bugs would be a 20A or a 22A Phicen? Seriously though, awesome design in armor. I wish amazon would ship worbla to Ca, but due to it being listed as perishable I can't order it.

Ooops, sorry Gub, won't happen again, thanks for the courtsey. Was a premiere for me and had no experience with that yet, as she is the only bad girl in my collection and the rest of my group are innocent angels (kind of...) and don't show themselves like that.

Thanks! What I like about the sculpt is how different it looks in certain lights. Although it's a bit too pretty, the character is actually supposed to have a broken nose (mutliple times), lacks one earlobe, the right pinky, and the black tattoo in her face covers a nasty burn scar. Also her arms would be completly covered in bad tattoos. A lot of work if I want to be accurate.

And yes I am a friend of "non stupid" armor. If a warrior wants to show skin, just get out of the armor.

Thanks a lot, badassery was the goal. I think the fur makes her look especially dragon agey. More peeks later.

Thanks! We might have talked about it in the original thread already, but I think there was a section on worbla.com about stores in the US with worbla in stock.

And imagine how tedious it would be to glue all the fur on bugs body, despite which one it is!

Thanks for understanding. I know it's an extra step, but do feel free to restore some of the images as such if you place digital censorship "stickers" over the respective areas. Just posted a couple of examples for another member HERE.

And man, I grew up on Heavy Metal magazine art, and this so completely hits on that fantasy vibe, like a Luis Royo painting. Love the whole look of it, especially the furs.

That's one way to keep morale up in the kingdom.

Yeah I thought about letting absurd things fly through the pictures strategically, but it would defeat the point of it all. If someone wants to have a view they shouldn't be distracted by cute skull stickers or sparkly stars, which would make more sense in 'scientific' posts. So for now I will settle with uncomplicated teaser pics followed by links for the interested.

Stryker --- Guessing it must be the latest/newest version of the s23b muscle body. I recently got one of those myself, and it took me a while but I eventually warmed up to it. It does have quite a prominent rear, lol.

Yep it's more prominent and unnatural looking the straighter the figure stands, movement or bent poses look more realistic. 
And thanks, the furs add a lot of cozyness!

You can see, she still has that pseudo Greek helmet. It doesn't fit on this headsculpt, but she will use it in a tactical way in the next post (and the last for now).

I like the shield and weaponry, but can't help think that even the "safe" posted images (not to mention the linked ones) are rather too gratuitous when it comes to the amount of skin that they show. Which is not to say the figure is not beautiful.
