I am currently on the second book by " John Stryker Meyer " . Which are about MACV teams in Vietnam , in his team one of the Vietnamese is named " Hiep " , he was an interpreter , if memory serves me well , he never took those Sunglasses off , even in the dark !!! I have named my figure after this real life character in Johns books . The link for " Quang " will give you further info on MACV- SOG teams . But here Hiep is kitted out in an old US Bar M.G Magazine belt , it held more magazines than standard U.S M.16 pouches , and a lot of S.F guys used them . He is wearing an ARVN pack , and has plenty of Frags and other equipment taped to his extraction harness . I think he looks very cool in those shades , and if I had not seen plenty of photos of him wearing them , I would not of believed he went out in the field that way .
