Here’s something that isn’t camouflaged!
I did this TIE Pilot over in the fashion of a WWII German pilot.
I repainted him entirely using Walmart acrylics with matte mod podge for sealer and clear floor polish for gloss on the lenses.
I dremeled out his neck and used a 1/6 scale head barbell to connect the helmet. Gives a great range of motion! I used some black hockey tape to help cover the exposed barbell stem, and as a helmet seal (seen best from the back of the helmet)
I also cut his chest tubes, drilled a hole in each side of the chest box and put some small magnets in. Then I glued magnets on each side of the hoses and bippity bam.
Removable chest tubes.
I also made a flare belt using some pieces of pop rivets, hockey tape (naturally) and carnation ribbon.
I gave him a grosgrain ribbon belt, and straps for his chest plate. I also made a holster out of hockey tape with carnation ribbon.
I slapped some decals from a 1/72 Huey kit I had kicking around, and here we have it.
