Phicen, the best dolls in the world

That does not sound too brutal, for the occasional item, unless the item is really small and lightweight.

A phicen doll in a gladiator costume of Ancient Rome.  Costume materials: gold-plated metal, leather, textiles, artificial hair.    Handmade suit.  Scale 1\6.  Height 28 cm .                                                                              
Retiarius is one of the types of gladiators.

The equipment of this gladiator was supposed to resemble a fisherman, his armament consisted of a net with which he had to entangle the enemy, a trident and a dagger, and his armor was limited to an armband and a shoulder pad that covered his shoulder and part of his chest.

Fun project. And quite different from the dancing girls.

Thank you, friends.  I made a traditional, Zulu shield and gave it into the hands of a Zulu girl phicen.  Now she is fully equipped and she is not afraid of arrows and spears of enemies.

Nice job. Maybe give the shield a spotted hide pattern down the line? The "Zulu" outfit is very cool, if a little streamlined, but perhaps she is a modern Zulu superhero. Unless you only have one or two bodies, I'd say it's time to take out the oil pastels and give her a more Zulu skin tone.

OH!!! no!!!!  I will not spoil the doll with pastels, so that she the dirties all the clothes and other dolls around.

I made the Colosseum out of styrofoam.

Gorgeous work on the Colosseum and the helmet, and of course the figure to begin with. And thank you, Diana, for fixing the image links. They do load, eventually, but after a long long while, apparently a function of the number, size, and perhaps hosting site of so many images posted in this thread.

Finally able to see all the pictures. Your work on the gladiators is really impressive. Beautiful job. The posing during the fight scenes was really well done.

Created the Athena costume.  White with gold. Leather, metal.

Very impressive fantasy female warrior. I know she's supposed to be Athena, but she could work well as another female gladiator playing that role.
