I think there is a kind of logic on their part to say, "this isn't some kind of cute resin cat that you may have seen all kinds of, before.  This is a new unique thing, it's frank, it's honest..."  Let's hope that "realism" stops there.  I don't want to be having a discussion about the authenticity of a 1/6 litter tray...

Oh man, now a litter would actually be kind of cool to see; like a mama cat nursing little ones, or a variety of kittens climbing on or around the mom. That would be neat.
