Properly futzed and weathered, they could look great.

I agree. Very promising sets, perfect for army building with other heads and bodies. There are loose helmets and sets of helmets out there, and of course one can try to pick up weapons and shields to supplement the look. I just hope they are affordably priced, because otherwise it would defeat the purpose.
