Today, Hot Toys is excited to unveil its first Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years 1/6th scale collectible figure, based on Marvel Studios’ Head of Visual Development, Ryan Meinderding’s concept art of Captain America from Captain America: Civil War.
Ryan Meinerding, who has been with Marvel Studios since the early days of Iron Man, helps to design the look and feel of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He was the visual development supervisor and the suit developer in Captain America: The First Avenger and has done the concept design for all of Captain America's suits.

Hot Toys has specially recreated one of Ryan’s incredible variant cover for Captain America cinematic visual design work from Captain America: Civil War, to a highly-accurate collectible figure. Ryan Meinerding, Head of Visual Development, has been active as a freelance concept artist and illustrator in the film business since 2005. Even early in his career, his work was already drawing the kinds of raves reserved for industry veterans. While working on Iron Man 2, Meinerding contributed the design for the new Iron Man armor in the comic book series Invincible Iron Man. He served as visual development co-supervisor on Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor, and Marvel’s The Avengers. He then served as head of visual development on Iron Man 3, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War.

This is cool. Seems like just a color-way of the CW Battling Version, but on the other hand, the arm poses seem capable of more extreme poses...

Pretty awesome. I probably would swap the head and put Coulson or Fury.

Looks great. I'm not planning on getting another Captain America, but I do appreciate this figure, at least from what we are shown (I don't think HT will drop the ball on the quality, though I suspect the suit might be a bit restrictive). It's really nice they included two head sculpts and two shields. This is how overly emotive heads should come: as alternatives to another, normal sculpt. If anyone wants a cool Captain America and is not wedded to a specific different look, here's another chance at getting one. Of course, I expect it would cost an arm and a leg, especially these days, especially for a toy fair exclusive.

For me that is the problem, it is a bit too ordianary. Like a paramilitary rather than anything more interesting. Except, I do like the heads!
I would like to get the pair of them but I suspect if anyone is parting these out then they will want the price of a whole ordinary 1/6 figure just for the heads!

I don't see the point of this release choice.
Cap already had a stealth suit version and it looked better than this so called 'concept version'.

This one has a newly designed body and the top part of the suit appears to use the same stretchy material that HT Black Panther and Spider-Man use. I went ahead and PO'd due to those improvements.
