Indeed. This thing is exquisite, and will no doubt cost enough to justify it. Simply glorious, but outside my purview.

Simply glorious is right. When I first read "National Treasure" I immediately thought of Nicholas Cage and those movies... and I wondered what a throne would have to do with those. It is awesome. I have a Chinese emperor to put on this thing, but I don't think I can justify the expense or the space.

this looks fantastic. I have no emperor to sit on it though. I do appreciate the craftmanship in this piece.

Feels like the perfect backdrop for Raksa, or Lucifer's up and coming take on Chang 'e, the Chinese goddess of the moon. I might have a need now...

Every time I look at this, I think of the Carlton Heston movie “55 Days At Peking” and the Dowager Empress.

This is a V2.0 that i have.

At first look, most of the accessories are the same. I guess they now named it the Entry version. The Deluxe version, however, is of interest to me. The Dragon Screen, as named, is more like a partition, to be used to partition rooms, as fitting area, or in this case, as a background. When i got the V2.0, i was disappointed that the beautiful "screen" was actually just a background cardboard stand. If they sell this screen seperate, I will get it.
