I'm not terribly impressed , mostly because the mail is so overscale, and like every archer yet made by Chinese toy companies, he has a measly stock of arrows. Such a shame : thirty would be a bare minimum !

Interesting. I've had issues with their design, but it is nice to see them go on with this series. In terms of overall look, this is does largely correspond to some late medieval armor featuring (chain) mail reinforced with some metal strips. But it would not have been worn by someone who was exclusively an archer, rather elite cavalry. I guess they tried to make it more common by simplifying the helmet design. As usual when it comes to "real" (chain) mail, it is a bit overscaled, and some items are a bit fanciful. And it looks like he forgot to protect part of his neck/chest.
