Indeed. He’s a customizer who’s been around awhile, and his improvement on the cheap crap that HT usually doles out for capes is astounding. I seriously hopes he takes a shot at Lando’s cape from ESB. I know these are pricey, but I just had to get the first Batman cape for my Keaton/Bats — I’ve messed with the original trying to help it drape by using magnets in the back — it’s honestly just a bad way to have to fix what shouldn’t have had to have been fixed in the first place. For all the praise HT gets (and sticker shock aside), they cut way too many corners, and use cheap ass materials. They’re primarily only real selling point is the head sculpts, as there are plenty of companies out there making costumes just as good.

They look excellent. So many options. A long time ago I got a custom replacement cape for the Man of Steel HT Superman, and am happy with it. But I don't know if it was by him and I don't think it has wire in it.

Does he do one that is sized for an HT Vader? If so, I'd love one...

At the moment it seems pretty open-ended. Lead time is 3-4 weeks, since he makes these “on demand” — but I wouldn’t hold off too long if you are truly interested. I would also recommend reaching out to Kit via PM (either here), or better yet via the website to double check. I only have a Sideshow Vader, so not sure if these would be compatible or not — plus, I’m holding out for a ROTJ Vader (with revealed head) for a HT version.

ETA: Yeah, I'm also hoping for an RotJ Vader from HT eventually. In the meantime though, I have two other options I could use this for -- my Rogue One Vader and/or a certain Vader kitbash I've been collecting parts for for a while now. Was eventually going to try to commission a poseable cloak for the kitbash, so this offering is ideal!

I received my Custom A (Batman Returns/Keaton) cape yesterday. I absolutely love it. The material is soft and very thin, feels awesome. The wire "spines" throughout the entire cape make it fairly easy to work with and pose, though I didn't spend a ton of time doing so, just enough to get a general idea. Well worth the investment to improve on the overly thick original that came with the Hot Toys figure (I had to use Rare Earth magnets, like a lot of others, to get the original cape to even drape properly). Sadly, the figure itself, while not showing any decomposition, is impossible to pose in anything other than museum pose as the rubber "suit" is highly, and impossibly, restrictive. Here's a few shots under different lights and a final shot of my Trifecta of DC Supers.

Oooh, that turned out so well! Since you can't pose the figure, at least now you can add a sense of movement to it via the cloak. : )

Yeah, it's a beautiful cape. I kind of wish he would have made one for the Christoper Reeve Supes, as it would be nice to have a "dynamic" cape for him, as well. I'm sure you'll love the Vader cape. (I'm still holding out -- even though I have a Sideshow Vader -- for the ROTJ Vader; and I hope Jaxon makes a cape that works with that version).

I doubled-checked with Jaxon himself to make sure the cloak would fit the HT model I needed it for, since for some reason it wasn't listed as an option on the description under the listing. Maybe you've already enquired about the Sideshow option, but it would be worth asking....

I've received my cloak for Luke, but haven't tried it out because I actually currently lack the space to display him with it anyway. (That's also why my JXK lion is still unboxed.) And I had a little photo shoot frustration over the weekend, so... I'll deliver photos soon. ^^
